Courage is the most important of all the virtues, because without courage you can't practice any other virtues consistently. You can't be consistently kind or fair or humane or generous, not without courage, because if you don't have it, sooner or later you will stop and say, "The threat is too much. The difficulty is ...too high. The challenge is too great. ~ Maya Angelou

Subject: TPIA request - letter to TASB

I request to view the letter sent by Mr. Robert Durkee, Board President, to Dr. James B. Crow, Executive Director of Texas Association of School Boards (TASB), requesting that TASB include the need for legislative action and statutory revisions to the Texas Public Information Act (TPIA) on its legislative agenda for the next Legislative Session.  Please see attached Eanes ISD resolution from the October 25, 2006 board meeting.

I also request to inspect any and all documents between and among TASB and Eanes ISD that show or reflect information related to this letter and/or the Texas Public Information Act.

If the district wishes to withhold any responsive information, please contact me so that we can work together to avoid the cost and delay of an OAG opinion ruling request.

Thank you,

Dianna Pharr
